I'm an Official Legacy Centenary Torch Bearer
It’s an honor to be a Legacy Centenary Torch Bearer for the Orange relay. I became a junior legatee in 1958 when my father died leaving my widowed mother with 10 children and one on the way living on an isolated property back of Bourke. I was accommodated in Sydney Legacy’s Glen Melvyn hostel while attending Uni and became a Legatee myself after service in Vietnam. I will always be grateful for Legacy’s help and advice given to me and my siblings.
